Here are some of the first pics of Lance’s bike for Milan San Remo tomorrow.
The bike is painted by the artist “KAWS” and is running as usual the full SRAM Red Gruppo, Bontrager setup and following the Liverstrong theme. This will be Lance’s first race in Europe since he won the 2005 Tour de France and he’s leading a strong Astana team here with Thomas Vaitkus, Yarosalav Popovich and Gregory Rast.

Two time German Champion Fabian Wegmann is one of the big guns on Germany’s only Pro Tour Team ‘Milram’. Always at the front in the Classics and a great Tour rider, with a Giro d’Italia KOM title to his name Fabs has a bike that certainly stands out from the crowd. Focus Bike guru Jörg Arenz is the genius behind these German bikes that are taking the Pro Tour by storm and he has created Fabs something special to go with his Deutsche Meister title.

    • SRAM Everywhere at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad (Het Volk)

      March 3, 2009

Opening week in Belgium is huge and the SRAM presence at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on Saturday was pretty big as well. SRAM was represented by 5 teams in the race with Astana, Milram, Agritubel, ISD and Elk Haus Fugi all flying the Red colours. Zipp was also everywhere with Cervelo, Garmin and Saxo Bank sporting fast Carbon wheels.

Thor Hushovd took the win on Zipp wheels and SRAM although having some bad luck in the final sprint crash chaos …

      Kristian McCartney

As the crimson sun rose it was a stark reminder that things were still not good for a large number of fellow Victorians. As the transition area was bathed in the light of the bushfire smoke filtered sun, all I can see is a sea of bikes… two and a half thousand to be exact!!!
The Gatorade Triathlon Series’ race at Elwood is massive!
To win what is the most popular of all the domestic sprint distance races is well deserving of props and well earned kudos.

Kristian McCartney did just that, dispatching his competitors with a stellar run …
