Chris McCormack, know to most as “Macca,” is considered a legend in the sport of triathlon and has recently released a biography that covers a great range of his sporting and personal life. The two-time Ironman World Champion, with over 200 career victories, gets personal and very honest throughout the 261 page book entitled, I’m Here to Win.
Macca spent part of an afternoon in the SRAM-Zipp-Quarq store set up on Ali’i Drive here in Kona, just prior to the 2011 World Championships, to sign posters as well as his new book. The personable and outgoing Australian, who posed for countless pics and personalized nearly every signature, asked far more questions of those waiting to meet him.
