Agritubel’s Feillu Third In Nimes On Tour De France Stage 13 Already winner of the Maillot Jaune on Stage 3 in Nantes, the speedy Agritubel rider Romain Feillu had a great sprint on his SRAM RED-equipped Team Agritubel Kuota at the finish of the 182km Stage 13 from Narbonne to Nimes.

Feillu (fay-you) powered home third, just behind stage winner Mark Cavendish and Robbie McEwen.

L’Equipe’s Jean-Francois Bernard, a former Tour stage winner and Maillot Jaune commented on Feillu, saying “I’m quite happy to see the third place today of Romain Feillu. He did well to get through the Pyrénées in good shape and now may surprise during the third week of this Tour De France.”

Watch for Feillu at the end of tomorrow’s stage 14 into Embrun.

With a Cat 4 climb in the last 15km, it’s perfect territory for the Agritubel man to bring home another Tour De France result on SRAM Red.
